An emotional and instructive start to the year
After 2024 ended quietly and cautiously for our region, we were cautiously excited to see what 2025 had in store. The goals were clear: we wanted to further expand our standing as a regional employer with heart, focus even more on our strengths, and continue to grow with a clear strategy. But there can be no growth without a solid foundation, which is why the year started on an emotional note with many in-depth discussions during management coaching for our department heads and executives with coach Dörthe Dehe.

We also had several exciting opportunities for our employees to learn and grow! For example, our colleague Michael's course on the basics of network technology has become established and was a great opportunity to introduce new employees to the world of IT hardware.
Cybertrading and corporate health management – a dream team!
What we started in 2024, we were able to successfully continue and develop further in 2025. Our measures to promote and maintain health are among the most popular benefits among our colleagues. Various health days throughout the year offered a wide range of activities: radiation-free back screening, a circulation check with aortic ultrasound, a health day dedicated to nutrition and exercise, and the introduction of a bar with healthy snacks such as nuts and dried fruit.

Cybertrading without parties? No way!
What would our company be without celebrations? Right, only half as much fun! That's why we continued our traditions in 2025, such as the Christmas party, Oktoberfest, and our Family & Friends summer party!
Whether it's iced matcha lattes from the coffee bike, danceable beats from DJ Necktie, the infamous Cyber Oscars, or pretzels, dirndls, and lederhosen—our events are full of attention to detail and lots of fun!

All of this is only possible thanks to our hard-working helpers, who put their utmost effort into every event and get the most out of event planning, organization, and coordination. And, of course, thanks to our colleagues, who make every celebration unforgettable!
We love exhibitions!
That's why we made a special effort in 2025 to be there for you at a wide variety of exhibitions and events in the region! We kicked things off at Hierbleiben Barcamp, a two-day regional event for HR professionals focused on exchange, learning from each other, and providing inspiration.
Of course, our repertoire includes the Hierbleiben Jobevent at Festung Mark – a trade fair with a class reunion vibe. But the job fair in September was also a complete success. Our HR girls were on an informative mission for you at TALENTpro in Munich to gather new ideas and inspiration for modern talent management. We also took a trip to the 3rd Magdeburg Health Fair to pick up on the hottest trends in occupational health management.
We are particularly proud of our unique and creative cyber merch, which we really went all out on again in 2025. The highlights? Ginger shots with our branding, LED stools with the Cybertrading logo, and high-quality coffee mugs. We love it!
Regional roots – commitment at heart
At Cybertrading, we are proud to show our commitment not only internally, but also by supporting good causes in the region. In 2025, we once again gave our all to support good causes and even actively helped!
In addition to donating items to sports clubs and schools, such as a set of jerseys for the sports kids at a community school in Barleben, we supported Allesretter e.V., the Niegripper Heimatverein, and the 3rd Doggie Trail of TierAnker Magdeburg. We particularly remember our work at the Magdeburgr Bahnhofsmission – a charity NGO located at railway stations – where Steffi and Lisa lent a hand where help was most needed. From making sandwiches to distributing food and hygiene items, the Bahnhofsmission does incredibly important work for people who are unfortunately too often overlooked in our society.

The highlight of our commitment this year was, of course, the Christmas donation, which went to the Rettungshundestaffel Magdeburg-Elbeland e.V. – a man trailing unit. The team of volunteers and their four-legged heroes give their all every day to save human lives. It was therefore an honour for us to support the unit in their work.

Highly popular every year: our team events! Each team has a budget spread over the year that it can invest in team-building activities. There are no limits to creativity. Whether outdoors, indoors, high in the clouds, or at the barbecue, this year's events were once again a colourful bouquet of cool ideas.
We love how our colleagues embrace the opportunity and put their own personal touch into the planning and implementation. And when unforgettable moments are created in the process, then the effort is worth it!

2025 was great – what does 2026 have to offer?
As you can see, we had an eventful, colorful, and emotional year from start to finish. We are proud of the path we have taken as a company, and of what we have been able to achieve with the help of each one of you. May 2026 be at least as successful and memorable as the old year and hold many great memories for next year's review!
